ASSESSMENT TECHNOLOGY, INC. LAUNCHES NEW WEB SITE www.ati-online.com
TUCSON, AZ/ June 21, 2002 - Assessment Technology, Inc. (ATI), a leading developer of online assessment and planning tools for early learners, announces the launch of a new web site www.ati-online.com. It is the latest advancement in ATI's mission to provide all educational stake-holders with innovative ways to use technology to promote learning.
"Easy navigation and increased resources are what visitors are raving about. This is exciting to us because caregivers, teachers and administrators can surf to our site and learn instantly how the dynamics of technology are changing the way children are educated." says John Bergan, President of Assessment Technology, Inc. "ATI's site is different from most because it is the actual portal to our online applications so easy navigation is critical."
Some of the new features that are accessible to visitors include the ability to:
- view real data on the progress of Head Start children this year and learn about the ongoing series of reports reflecting the course of children's learning in the Portrait of Child Outcomes;
- read or print current and past editions of ATI's newsletter: Galileo Explorer;
- access the updated technical manual, The Galileo System for the Electronic Management of Learning, under Research-Resources-Statistics;
- check out expanded eCues including quick-reference guidance on Galileo Online, Galileo G-2 and Online Reporter;
- learn about Professional Development opportunities and download a Training Registration Form, in the new Training & Support area; and
- meet the ATI Team and learn more about the creators of Galileo.
A pioneer in the electronic learning industry, ATI has developed numerous products including Galileo Online, Online Reporter, Galileo G-2 and Merlin. These tools provide educational programs with assessment, planning and case management tools for the Electronic Management of Learning (EML). EML empowers programs with a research-based, integrated technology for creating supportive learning environments that enable children to achieve their full potential. By providing caregivers, teachers, administrators and policy-makers electronically aggregated information used to promote learning, EML helps to ensure that each of the stakeholders in children's development have rapid access to evidence-based decision-making data.
Assessment Technology, Inc. has customers in all early childhood education segments, including Head Start programs nationwide and proprietary preschools. Galileo is recommended by the state Head Start Association in Florida and North Carolina and is mandated by the Ohio Department of Education for use in all State funded Head Start, Public School Preschool and Special Education Preschool programs.
"Don't forget to bookmark ATI at ati-online.com," adds Bergan.
Incorporated in 1986, the mission of ATI is to create, distribute and support the use of technology to promote learning from infancy through adulthood.
